Getting a little wet

Up until Thursday we had only 2mm this month . We only had 14mm on Friday when others very close by had 27 mm and yesterday and last night we had another 19mm so just a good amount . The wheat was starting to look pretty sick in places so hopefully will perk up now .
More importantly , the most important crop on the farm , the game covers will actually start to grow now .

@Brisel the land drains are running and the dykes are full. The cracks has almost closed up, see the picture with a direct drillers best friend....

Sorry - I can't "like" that

There were slugs on a neighbour's wheat plants in his trial plots yesterday (along with a cloud of lemon and orange blossom midges). That's wheat after maize too. Plenty crawling up my wheat plants as well. If I had a stack of salt in the shed I'd take the sprayer out tonight & nuke the little buggers :shifty:

70mm since it started raining yesterday late morning,just emptied it out due to it being full.
Plus its still raining FFS,wheat going flat plus spring barley and OSR ,oh joy.
