Wonder what CF Industries' profit margin is......well, I did wonder.
One merchant quoted a higher price yesterday, but said come back and talk if that’s no good. For goodness sake!, why would I buy off the one that wanted to take more off me in the first place.Just merchants cutting their margins trying to capture business of each other.

I was advised to put my name on some a few weeks ago but told I could cancel if the price was more than I was willing to pay. So yesterday got a call offering uk an @ £255, said no thanks and was offered it at £253 said no thanks and bought 2 loads of lithan . £10 / t cheaper than this years .
Problem is I don’t think I’ll be getting anywhere near the £200/t paid for the urea +s this time last year.

No. It's based on the combination of what the idiots will pay IE demand, and knowing exactly what the few other competitors charge IE supply.
