Guess how much for a L200 series 5 Alternator

Not my decision, My day job is working for a massive organization. Ford offered the best deal for supplying all vehicles. and ford academy training for us as techs.

Never had a problem with milner order parts from them pretty much every week. never had a wrong part sent @davidroberts30

Not an option @Pheasant Surprise vehicle is a declared operational vehicle so turn around has to be rapid. Was all sorted under warranty anyways i was just taken a back as to how much it was.
Good job. Got the hares running there :D

Parts prices often just a losing lottery: pick a random number and multiply it by 20.

Maybe I was unlucky as the shoes were too small and were only working a third of their size and the front pads were so hard they had no bite and were dangerous and as they did all the work they warped the discs
Ok sh!t happens but it was the way milners treated me after that really got my heckles up

car parts for less (AKA EURO car parts) with discount code where i get stuff like pads etc, you can select brembo or other mainstream oem manufactures not usual shite some online places send out, not worth poor quality stuff for brakes.

a little knowledge is a dangerous thing and thats what i have on this topic but is that a wise move?.
the thread on here about the engine oil pump failures on them wouldnt exactly inspire me to buy one but maybe all new vehicles of that caliber are gone the same way with problems.(n)
head gaskets as well leading to seizure. son just did one for a customer, s/h engine, £4000+ inc labour etc.

the Duck has corrected my ignorance to the situation, sounds like they have that sorted now.
good to know.

Re the staggering prices of today's parts, on the tractor side of things, and im quite sure other vehicles too i see a lot of licensed parts lately more so than what used to be, certain items can only be sourced from the manufacturer even tho its mainstream brand manufacturers that make them.

That's mental was it the receptionist that gave you that price, I would like to see the invoice for that. It is pissing with rain but I will have a look later to see where it is and guess how long to fit. Did they fit new idler pulleys, tensioner and new belt, ?

Their front pads are utter shite, at £10 a set I suppose I shouldn't have expected anything else. I too will never buy Milner brake pads again :pompous:
