Got a problem with the Norac system on sprayer, a few weeks ago it started coming up with error message RoCom, meaning not signal from right sensor, then a few days later it started saying LoCom, from the left one.

I've been told that there is a connection in top of sesor that can come loose, so had them apart and the wires are set is resin so are not loose
I've checked plugs, pulled apart and sprayed with contact cleaner.
Checked wiring, and apart from a bit of cracking in outer sheath (internal cables are fine) i can't find any other fault.

Also, when static in yard, the sensors work find and boom raises when i place hand under the sensors

Don't want to buy a pair of sensors if it doesn't cure the problem.

Any ideas please?

Not sure what make sprayer you have but if a Bateman, they can if you send them in, the whole head(or deliver if you fancy a drive)change the eye in the norac (about £125?) and test which is better than some firms who will only change the whole head at £700. Also worth pointing out on a Bateman(that's all I know) but the heads all have serial numbers and you enter the numbers into the set up in correct position ie centre or left/right which means you can't just change one for another without changing set up or else it won t know where the heads are, catches out a lot of people .
One other point, on mine I had a problem once and it was a fitting on the wiring, white in colour like a slight stretched S shape (resistor maybe)and that had failed but a new one fixed the problem.
