Lambed hoggs end of March to mid April but wabtong to bring some forward into January lambing flock. When's the latest you would wean to give a good flush. Lambs are 25-30kg now.

Ideally wean at least a month before tupping I was told, but the longer the better really.
That said, I often wean some March lambing Charollais ewes a week before I put sponges in, and their conception rates aren’t much lower than those weaned longer.

I suspect breed would come into it as well, with later cycling breeds being less successful.

Forgot to mention the teaser needs to go in before so aim to wean mid July should do the trick?
reasonable ewe condition is prob most critical aspect , have put teasers in before weaning when been tight for time in past , may loose a few % numbers first lambing without the rest between , but have found restarting cycle harder than straight through weaning then tupping , but as neil said breed is important , texel x types could be difficult .
