I’m just thinking of all the pipes, pto shafts etc to be pulled every time it needs loading. Be in and out of cab like a yoyo

I put the video on purely to show how the fastrac and spreader maybe coupled so it would not be a big job to unhitch to self load and hydraulic locking pins for bucketIf the owner is anything like me I expect he’s thought long and hard before spending that kind of money and he’s spent it on the best piece of kit for the job in his situation.
Good luck to him.
Only concern I would have is running on the same piece of ground four times, but that may not be a concern for him.
I hope it pays him back
Blo0dy quick to unhitch with that thingy. Then promptly loads the spreader with a tiny bucketBetween 50seconds and 1minute he unhitches it
Have you loaded much lime?Blo0dy quick to unhitch with that thingy. Then promptly loads the spreader with a tiny bucket

Nop, never loaded any. Just would had imagined seeing he is pulling about 20 ton around, a tractor that size would lift a bit more?Have you loaded much lime?
Its pretty heavy stuff.
What kind of weight would those twin axle spreaders carry ?
that could get interesting very quickly.I would think he would get a good 1.5 tonnes in that bucket.
Probably a good 15t in there I would think.

Fastrac can crab steer I would think an if spreader can as well it be perfect. If the owner is anything like me I expect he’s thought long and hard before spending that kind of money and he’s spent it on the best piece of kit for the job in his situation.

If it works, crack on
It probably doesn't do much good and it's awful stuff to spread but until the stars align and ground conditions are right, the weather is suitable and fields are relatively grass free it'll have to do.If it works, crack on
That’ll be mud your tractor wheels are in?Too big and heavy for my place, I'll stick to the granulated in the Vicon.View attachment 810446
Picture is a month old. Back then it was a field of dust that was blowing away and I was wondering if there was any point in sowing grass seed. There's water lying on it now. That’ll be mud your tractor wheels are in?
