I have a heap of lime that I sheeted down but it has still gotten wet. Can it still be spread with a lime spreader?

yea, but it won't flow as well so a bigger door opening will be required , but if on a blowing day you can move it a few times it would be far better. 2 loads tipped in my yard not sheeted and I'm not a bit bothered about it.

Doesn't it depend on what kind of lime it is? I always used ground limestone from the quarries at the east end of the Mendips in Somerset. If that stuff got wet, it would just run off.

Depends on the product. It may not be as bad as first thought inside? It may have got wet from the bottom up if it’s been sheeted. So taking the top off the heap and then putting the wet on top would be my method.
But as said, it possibly won’t flow very well, and allowances may have to be made for this with regards to the rate.
If it’s gone lumpy then it will be a pain.
Getting it moving on a nice day will be beneficial, spreading it out for the day and then heaping it up again will do wonders, it will dry and the movement will help break up lumps if there are any. But there is rarely the time or space to do this! But if you can then it will help.

I had 10t like that last year that my contractor couldn’t get it through his spreader! Didn’t have time to wait for it to dry out so ended up putting it through my muck spreader which has a slurry door, spread fairy even actually.

In my experience if the spreader has a cleated belt it will spread wet lime as long as its not slurry. Smooth belt spreaders are less forgiving. As above a wee shift on a drying day wil fairly help .

The red/gritty looking stuff? Gets wet and doesn't seem too worried about it!
I had a load of that from them spread by @Devon James .It came with free tarmac mixed in the 20t load!

You can only do your best and some spreaders cope with wet line better than others.
My Big A is hopeless but the Bredal is much better.
The lime itself will be fine and still do the job if you can get it on.

trouble is if you are buying it by the ton you are paying for water. i'm referring to the lime being wet on delivery not getting wet after tipping.

only happened once,didn't cost me. my lime buying days are over apart from a bag for the garden.
