I am currently looking again at where we get best results from advertising...
I have been offered a page on here in the ''directory'' section... So...
Question...Where do you find your info on new machines?
Website of manufacture
Social media of manufacturer?
Social media of dealer
Printed press
Word of mouth
County shows
National shows?

Id appreciate your feedback as after all, you all help to buy our products.

Where do you look Rob ? Probably the same place as most farmers is the answer

Btw - more people visited TFF today (and do 365 days a year) than visited cereals last week or received last weeks farmers weekly ... just for comparison

The directory is really a place to publish press releases etc rather than annoy TFF users with them as general posts, if you want to actually advertise then banners are the way that most do and support the existence of TFF keeping it free for members to use by doing so, without such support TFF would have to close down


But of course I would talk my own book I guess !

As I told your chap at cereals , we do advertise with banners etc.... just getting some more advice, hence my post!

When you say 'more people', do you mean, hits, impressions or individual IP addresses?

In truth Rob its best to do a bit of everything, digital, print and shows etc - the only question really is what % of budget where and what is the best value

If you speak to @Chris F he’s very good at advising without bias, I often hear him recommending the many alternatives to TFF. The directory you must have spoken to David about is just for press releases / product news etc which is useful if you produce a lot of that kind of thing, websites with this kind of traffic level and dynamic content are loved by google and really these days it’s google that actually matters as that’s where people do their research
