Stewardship Payments for 2018

Got an amount approx 100% of our 2018 payment, today does this mean wait 12 months for 2019 money to appear?

Very likely. NE / RPA going to be in deficit now til they can balance the books ( can they even do that ?) - gov arent going to advance them any 2019 money sooner than they possibley have to

Having watched what was said in the committee in parliament a couple of weeks ago i think they would of had their b**ls nailed to the wall if these payments hadn’t come in July!
Off to check bank now!
Its treasury money thats paying us atm poss because of pressure from the likes of various bodies inc the NFU (i hope)
and the likes of Guy Smith (Big thanks for your words on here)
Poss even some MP's but dont hold me on that

I think others are also involved. I was reliable informed that Reading University.......who do a costing service on behalf of DEFRA by analysing sample farmers accounts.......... had written their report to DEFRA which included the state of farming due to the sheer lack of Nature Payments by the RPA.

Apparently this came as a surprise to DEFRA as they hadn't realised !!
