I’ve broken the barrel out of my New Holland TF78 and can’t unlock the door. I’ve tried sticking a screwdriver in the hole and turning it but can’t. Can I drill it? Any advice welcome.

Normally there is a little slider in the door button that will slide one way or the other to unlock the door had new holland door barrels fall out before and just reach in with a fine screwdriver and move the slider to one side and ur in

Hammer a big flat screwdriver into the lock as far as possible then turn it with a large wrench. Most tractor locks are shallow and made from a weak allow and will easily shear through.

Failing that, have you spoken to your dealer to see if the combines have common keys?
