Looking at a new rake, we had our current single rotor from new and it’s about 35 years old and VERY tired.
I had a demo of a kubota 2850 twin rotor rake although unfortunately all I had to test it on is turning swaths of straw at the moment! (Which it did very cleanly) Does anyone have any real world experience of these? Looks a good strong bit of kit!

It would be a KV under the orange paint wouldn't it? I'm looking at a Kubota wagtail spinner, its a Vicon in Kubota colours and its nearly £900 cheaper than a Vicon painted one....

purchased an ex demo 2580 8 m with Hyd adjust in June this year, seems a well made well thought out piece of gear, one of the seals is leaking on one of the rotors but will get done by the dealer in winter. upgraded from a single rotor vicon .

I've a kv 7.2m twin rotor rake I've had for 3 seasons now only bother I've had is the check valves on the width rams the width was creeping from new so had 2 new rams with check valves on but it's started doing it again .

Ours is the smallest model they do so the camtrack isn't adjustable and I'm struggling to get it to make as nice a shape of row in grass and straw as our previous claas rake but I think it's because the kv isn't worn out like the claas was

The one your looking at will be a good rake
