Too true! I did have to reverse a tourists car for them the other day. They only had to go back about 50 yards but after they hit the hedge for the second time I thought it might safer if I did it for them. He was very grateful![emoji57]

No competitions for me this year. Season is about to finish with the county championships in Newquay this weekend, but we have a wedding so, even if I was fit, I couldn’t go. It’s nice to be on the water though. Winter training will start in Oct which means bloody cold, early mornings on the water, but if it’s a nice day it doesn’t get much better!

Winter training...Hardy souls indeed!

Worth it next season though.

Out of interest how flat is your place...certainly looks very flat.
A.. not my place (its across the road)
B... everything is flat here. That's why flood irrigation works here..

If you zoom in directly in front of canola in front of my bonnet is our place across the highway. According to GPS I've done 100kms and 38.6 ha. 14 to go

For jobs like this, you're most welcome to come and pick my mower up.
I cut 38 ha on the trot with my smashing great 2.45 metre Taarup - once, never again.

By 4 am I was seeing elephants :ROFLMAO: however it didn't use 100 litres of diesel, I just did LOTS of laps (14 paddocks)

Really? It looks frostier than your winter photos.
'The days get longer, and the cold gets stronger', it will soon be hot and dusty and I'll be howling for rain.
An inch and a half in the rainguage tonight! (y)
The soil's warmed up about 3 degrees C from its lowest point, currently around 6-7 degrees, I did give my cattle a bale to keep them happy ?

A few big rollers coming in, we made a detour after unloading the calves today.
Out there in the gloom is Mt Anglem, Stewart Island.
