Are you ready for Brexit

No that is incorrect. We live in a representative democracy where the rights and interests of all the populous have to be accommodated at some level. Hence it often seems by the majority that small minority groups are over represented. Had the result of the referendum been respected by the Leavers a Norway type deal would have been the obvious and least damaging way forward, as was the actual case in Norway when they voted 48 to 52 not to join the EU in 1994.
So if remain had won what would the remain side done for those that voted leave, you and I both know it would have done f**k all. The lib dems want it turned ovr as do many other MPs how is that respecting the leave voter ? In a two way vote there can be only one winner

No, I think it would have still resulted in DC having to go back for further negotiations, although I am not sure on what, maybe immigration? As we are still guessing 3 years later what Leavers or ERG want out of Brexit it's difficult to know.

Sorry and I dont mean to be rude but youre dreaming, had remain won, DC would have said job done crack on, what reason would he have had to think actually I need to get more and more inportantly the EU would have said you had a vote remaining in as now won why on earth would we give you more

Cameron's only task was to save the Conservative party from UKIP and a Remain win would have done nothing to alter that risk, in fact it would have made it worse. The populous in general were totally ambivalent to the EU as the opinion polls at the time indicated it ranked as low as 21st in peoples concerns.

Ask your self why UKIP was on the rise and he felt the need to rescue the Tory party from them ! Because the vast majority of uk people want the uk out of the Eu for better or worse they want out, get over it and get behind it or shut the fuk up.

whatever ones view is, the job needs to be sorted, I wouldn't even like to guess how much it's cost industry throughout the EU, including us. Why would Europe even want us now, after all the agro ? The answer is our money, to prop up a failing eurozone. I am ashamed of our politicians, they represent their constituents in parliament, and should vote according to the referendum result of their patch, as someone put it, just over 1/2 pop voted to leave, but 75% of mp's wanted to stay. There's been a lot of criticism of boris, how he will fail to leave on the 31st, and how the electorate will kill of the cons in an election, i'm not sure that will happen, nobody can say he didn't try, he has been treated to every dirty trick, the remain side can find, he has been trying to sort the job with both hands tied up, the voters are not as stupid as some politicians would like to think they are. Mind you, my view of boris is he is a cunning conniving, chap, that is incapable of giving a straight answer, is utterly ruthless, exceedingly clever, in other words, an ideal politician.
I am very anti another referendum, what would happen if it was as close as the last one ? civil war ? probably not, but it would split uk into a us or them situation, a gen election could be messy, but is probably the best option, but would be fought on a stay or go ticket. Like I said earlier, I am ashamed of our politicians, it should never have ended up like this, they all said they would honour the result, and they should have !!!
