Feeding store lambs is not a reliable source of income if you look at it on an annual basis. I’ve been told by the feeding men and the bank manager to average it out over four year periods.

Not pellets. I once took a wagon load of hoggs to Longtown one spring and there was a fella with some fantastic scotch hoggs there. I asked him what he’d fed them on and he said ‘nothing they’ve just ran about’ they had been on grass up near Alcan all winter. I wondered what the difference in cost/profit would be between his and mine

Store lambs up £3-£4 on the week at Sedgemoor. Took my medicine and got 100 bought, grass isn’t going to eat itself

Biggest crowd of buyers ever seen at the market for store lambs.
Around 2650 penned.
Top was £88 head for NON farm assured lambs that will go straight up the line..

Not that many small ones in, one or two pens of very hard done lambs in but that was about it so hard to judge.
Well probably could be worst. Has long they go out £90 plus you will be ok
