Our diesel tank needs a new gun and hose, does anyone have any recommendations. It's not something I've changed before, the last one is a Goodyear hose and gun my dad says has been there all his life he's now coming 75 ?. I like the idea of the one that counts the litres and a filter on it.

Tank will be fine as long as it has a 110% capacity bund around it and the hose is contained/stored in the bund

even pre 1991 single skin tanks
one has the deffo hasnt :LOL::LOL:
Infact even the bunded Tanks Hose etc isnt bunded nor is it gonna be neither if the Tap which i turn off & lock isnt good enuff then tough
then the whole lot is all under cover & impossible to accidentally hit neither

a 100 year old tank will be fine as long as its sound and has the required bund around it
most tanks are perched up on god knows what ..
it will be cheaper to buy a 2500l fuel station for 1300 than pi55 about building a bund etc

Yeah i know its crazy
my plan is one day to just have such a thing poss 5000/7000lts roughly
but atm both are well situated on strong supports & both have new hoses/guns & work a treat
Gravity fed but no issues with that.
Just use a IBC to fill up combine & that works a treat.

My Only input , mates pumped system, bunded plastic on floor , pump pumps hard , ltr counter, no filter, auto off gun .
It foams really badly, so gun knocks off , makes fuelling a boomin nightmare, several inches of foam , so ur waiting for that to clear if u want to fill owt.
If u throttle gun its better but still shite .

depends on how deep your pocket is i suppose.
i had a auto trip fuel nozzle here for a few months when one day it didn't trip..., luckily i was standing beside it.
i fitted a piusi nozzle on it as soon as that happened and its never failed since, that's 12 yrs ago by now at least.
they have meter units and pumps as well, i find their stuff dear but cheap in the long run, or at least so far so good.
