Does this count as SDS?

I have had it several years and used it a lot, very good bit of kit.

@Pan mixer its the battery one I'm interested in, I actually have a big Makita similar to that. The last few weeks I've found my self away from electric when I need to chip off some stone or drill a few holes. But I know if I buy it it will sit of three months before I reach for it again.

Has any one bought the sds drill?

Very handy tool, hired this one for a day, saves lugging a generator to awkward spots, heavy on the batteries tho. Think I went through the two 5ah batteries and possibly half a charge on another drilling these two holes, plenty power tho.

There are two available, this was the more expensive type. As good as a corded sds and very capable but a bit expensive if I remember right.
Either the batteries were on their way out or the holes to be drilled must have been big to need two and a half batteries for two holes. We use this for m16 holes regularly and bits of chiselling and it's not as hard as that on batteries

Anyone using the huddie m12 looks good ???

I have one?‍♂️ it's okay. Bought it to wear under overhauls. Pain in the arse if you want to lay under a machine on you left side but will get used to it. My only 2 complaints are heat pads could be lower down on back and the body is too short.

But it is nice. And very cosy with hood up and I hate hoodies!

Ah alright, the big boy. Sounds like a weapon but my work would suit the biggest m12 whacky-whacky better. Anyone use them?
i have a M18FIWF12-0 18v 1/2" impact gun here, its not a M12 in fairness but its a real go to gun, small and compact and still runs off the 18v batterys, a wheel nut of a car or jeep is about its max to give you an idea but i have the bigger gun to fill the void if i need more oomph, this one is just light and handy.
iirc i bought mine new for £139 off the bay naked, it was cheap at the time.
might be of some help.

Yeah you might be right. I used one of somebody else, didn't look at the number but the weight of the battery (5ah) was more then the gun, very nice. I was thinking an m12 would be more compact with the small battery, but maybe it would throw the balance off.
Not really in the market yet, just looking.
