The prize for championing farming goes to..........MacDonalds !

I don't go to Mc Donalds but rarely go to A&W ,their signage/advertising is done by morons..
Rather go to Tim Hortons ?

I think they’ve always shown farmers in a good light, haven’t they?
Pete, I have no idea about the UK, but they've always been very good down under.
Especially since they began the 'design your own' burgers and released a premium range, you can't help notice the words "Premium NZ Angus beef" as they are evident throughout the franchises

Indeed, It was said a few years back that local mc'Ds sourced their beef from pickstocks abattoir in Telford, If that is still true, the cattle I took today might be feeding local folk over the coming weeks.

A great statement that needs shouting about in these times of climate change, carbon footprint, food miles etc..

Big Mac medium meal with coke and McFlurry for desert.....good food, great value for money meal. Consistent quality. Me and millions of other folk enjoy at least once a month!

I’ll agree with the ‘consistent quality’ bit, but that’s about all. If I am after food quickly, McD would be a last resort, and a long way behind KFC & Burger King. I know they use UK beef, but the6 have a canny ability to turn into homogenised mush imo. A long way behind the BK Angus burgers for me.

That said, I’d sooner have a proper eat every time.
