The campaign to re join

Maybe, just maybe, once we have left, and all the new trade terms that we had to agree to begin to bite, it will be the leavers who may reconsider?
And maybe it will all go so well that the remoaners will admit that they got it wrong. Seriously though whatever happened to that wartime spirit where the people backed whatever route we chose for the good of the country. Too many now would be happy for the country to go bankrupt just so that they could gloat.

We have to remember, that the leavers started their campaign , the day we joined. Everyone laughed at them for 40 years.
I am very happy to hold my council, on this matter until we are 5 years down the line, at least until I am proved right that it was the most stupid decicision in the last 100 years.
how will you be proved right ? what would have to happen ?

Anything that in any way and for any reason goes wrong in the next decade or so will be blamed upon Brexit by them. And anything that goes right, regardless of how obvious a link there may be, will be despite of Brexit according to them.

It is a rather revolting and miserable shame that so few of them have stated that that they hope Brexit will be a success for the UK - but, following the near-endless whining, it is no surprise.

It certainly is not in my interest to fight against a successful economy, so I will do my personal best to help in any way, however little that may be.
However I suspect our economy will slow down compared to the rest of Europe and when this happens the clamour will start.
If, as I suspect, a trade deal with the USA does not go well for UK farmers and Europe reverts to its protectionist history, we may well see UK farming and industry being nearly unanimous in its pleading to the government to reapply.
However I would not support such a move as it would not be possible without embracing the Euro, which would be a disaster
