Northern Ireland Milk Price Tracker

We had a similar thing on a few heifers years ago, started with blisters which burst then turned slowly into a thick black scab which destroyed the teat, turned out to be a herpes virus and only thing that worked was sovirax for cold sores(£5 for very small tube) but worked very well on the blister phase

Sent the wife to go get me some. She gave me the weans yellow nappy cream. Awful stuff but worked a treat. [emoji1303]

Jeez non rt milk is paying better than rt.can someone explain to me the advantages of rt. Keep it simple like I'm 4 years old so I can understand. In the meantime I'll carry on with the no hoops no loops no courses milking as normal

DF non rt milk now 5p less than rt, never found it a big deal tbh. Most of the records and stuff needed for cross compliance anyway, just means you get the medicine book updated every 18 months instead of waiting for the dard man to ring.

Dard don't ask for milking machine report,a bulk tank service report , info sheets on all your chemicals,non-smelly soap and five pages of shite from your vet.
All of the above cost money and Z gets the best price.
