I have been fairly optimistic since Sept, especially when I got a bit drilled 2 weeks ago but I have never seen it as wet. It’s ponded In so many places the surface has capped even on stubbles. This last few weeks has really broken us.
I have landed grass land with 18” of water in the bottom of each land and that hasn’t been cultivated for a few hundred years

11 mm overnight. What do we do? Spin on untreated seed and let the rain wash it in? It’s just slop all over now. Sheep getting like outdoor pigs. Trying to save grass to turn out onto after lambing, but what they are on is becoming a real mess.
