The unacceptable cost of the trauma of TB testing.
Which the badger huggers and politicians and civil servants seemingly do not appreciate.
Had the reading on Monday, this today.

mot winds them up some however gently you get it done. Had one cow die in its sleep last year and two aborted:mad:

Did it it do anything to the nematodes then? i assumed it helped by feeding the plant better?
Spread on top of growing wheat in the dry spell last spring. Wheat plants definitely grew away, but weren’t doing so using bag fert only. It made the ground unfavourable for the nematodes to live in and transformed the crop, hence repeating the exercise this year. Leaving the soil firmer for drilling will help with manganese deficiency too.

Not breaking the law any more.

Well, that law anyway.

Ferret finder was spot on, first time that I had used one to find a drain.

Collar attachment in a bag and taped to the end of the rods (27 of them until the blockage)

That is where the thing said that the blockage started.

Sadly I had to leave the excitement at this point and took no photographs, suffice to say that the mark was less than half an inch out, shame that we had to Kango up the garden path to get to it. I have put a garden chair over it for now, so bodge almost completed, I may get back to finishing that job off after calving, lambing, silage, hay making, harvest and drilling. There should be a gap before the cows come back in.
