I take it coronavirus has not touched your part of the world. I have had it and I assure you that even being a fit late 50s it was not a pleasant experience and I can see how somebody with underlying problems would be in serious trouble.
There are going to be stricter rules because people are not doing what they’re supposed to.
You complaining that you cannot carry on your life as normal does not help The cause.
How long ago did you have it? And was you able to work throw it?

You need to look at the bigger picture, shutting the country down like this for months on end with no hope of getting parts/ supplies for key industry's is going to cause a lot more problems than it solves let alone the millions of people that will have no jobs/ income for years to come when this is all over.

We all know this is serious for anyone with underlying health problems but there needs to be a balance, 2/3 week lockdown to give the NHS/ Government time to re-organise is one thing but months on end is just not sustainable.

Harvest break downs could be interesting this year

I think everything is going to get very intresting.

I can well see this being the lowest harvest tonnage wise either grain or grass for several decades if the government doesn't get a grip and start letting the country go back to work in 2/3 weeks time.

Food will be very short by next winter/ spring if this carry's on for long.

Well to be fair some banks have shut I wanted to put some in on Wednesday but that one was shut have to go Bideford but don't travel that way much. Just out of interest would most markets be fairy secure? If money couldn't be payed for a while?
Post cheques to the bank if you have to
Beggars belief that most people aren’t on BACS

Not easy task keeping everyone happy! We all have different pressures an stresses but all things considered I think we are on a sensible path by now. We'll need more than 2/3 weeks but please don't panic, try and focus on the long term. It will pass and livestock prices will settle.

You need to see the bigger picture as well
this is NOT something that just kills those that were about to peg it anyway
many lives have been and will be lost just because folk have to go off wondering, firstly to places like china and fly it back here and now with folk dying they won't stay away from other people,
I can't make it out, most peoples biggest expense is buying or renting somewhere to live and yet they spend half their time thinking of excuses to feck off somewhere else, you would think there would be more camper vans sold for folk to live in wouldn't you then they could be a different place every fecking day FFS
