Did you ever get your Claas sorted properly @carbonfibre farmer ?
She so far (touching wood frantically!!) seems to be ok.
Did all last autumns ploughing, some in not the best conditions, and this spring too.
So far so good.

Is your weight frame long enough!;)
Hmmm how much shall I put out the front  .
Just a bit more, and a bit more

Until I put too much on and break her in half!

@boyo was worried I'd do that!!

I've a set of 8 of those 22kg weights but only 5 on the front. I do have a set of 40kg weights but thought they might be a bit keen :ROFLMAO::X3:

Plenty of room at home and no road junctions to pull out of so pretty safe.

Only put on to help with the bloody heavy plough and bald front tyres!

It'll come off for other work (y)

Can’t be as heavy as your red overum? Is it a TSR103?

Little beauty. Is she all original?

I’ve only had it 6 months but I think so. Cab interior has been half ‘made over’ with some new padding and lining and I think it should have quick release link arms but it doesn’t (it’s a hi lift model). Tyres are new - although thinking I should have gone for something a little wider with hindsight (although this size is original spec). So far all seems to work pretty well aside from a few gremlins with the lights and a very small oil leak on the underside which I need to figure out where it’s coming from. Link arms also don’t seem to want to go right to the bottom of their travel....haven’t figured out why as they do lower to the bottom if engine is off. Someone suggested it could be a faulty seal in one of the assistor rams. Oh and I think there has been some paint applied in a few spots to tidy it up...

First thing to check oil leak wise is a plastic pipe, about 10-12 mm o/d that takes run off from the reservoir tank above the hydraulic pump back to the back end. It gets brittle and will crack and weep.

I’ve owned four 50 series tractors and had to replace that pipe on all of them. It’s a bit fiddly but no problem. There’s no pressure in it, just pushed on at the ends. You’ll find the rear end of it under the removable plate under your feet in the cab, plumbed into the top of he gearbox.
