We have a normal 750 on Rangepoint and an ez pilot wheel. Works very well for drilling, makes life so much easier! Not sure a 750 lite will do steering unless you upgrade it in which case you might as well go straight to a normal 750. Im sure EZ steer works ok but we went for EZ pilot as a more integrated system and its works very nicely.complete newbie to this gps stuff. planning on buying a trimble 750 options are ether a 750 lite and trying a shop soiled ez steer, or going for a bundle with a ez steer
also on another subject can i drill on rangepoint????
Mine is fitted to a Bateman, it's only an issue when the oil's cold, once warmed up its fine.the only problem with ez pilot is it takes away about 20% of your power steering (because of turning the motor & smaller steering wheel) when steering manually, with ez steer rubber wheel motor when its disconnected your power steering is as per normal

Does anybody who runs an ez pilot find that the wheel drifts when going down the road? This is when the wheel is not engaged on the highway and travelling in a straight line I have to constantly keep adjusting the wheel clockwise just to stay straight.
I had that problem on my case mxm140. Replaced seals in two small steering rams solved the problem. In my case nothing to do with ez pilot.Does anybody who runs an ez pilot find that the wheel drifts when going down the road? Same here. But it makes drilling much easier on driver, tractor, drill and headlands. Just finish bout before leaving for refil/tea!. Then when you come back to the job just shift to present position and way you go!I drill on rangepoint, but rather than drilling every next run line normal with bout markers, I drill in lands or every other bout across the field and back again, to make headland turns quicker and easier.
If you do this then you do have to keep an eye on where the drill is between previous runs and occasionally nudge it to stay just right between then.
