Mate of mine has some cattle going to Dunbia tomorrow £3.14!!!! they told him send as many as you want as there is likely another 6-8p coming out next week.
Big Market in Hereford today .I took ewes average just shy of £100 for half meat not the biggest suffolk cross bred ewes . Over 2k in , heard also similar number of Hoggs av £2.13p. Happy with my sales and also hoggs seem to have steadied now in price. Ramadan will keep the interest with buyers over the next couple of weeks. Keep safe

The problem with deadweight is they have there big contract boys who get a bonus of 20p or so....they have no reason to raise their base price...the hogs just keep flowing in..just think about it

Just been to pick out milk calves ready to start the whole process again and I have to be honest I'm struggling to find the motivation , have to think back 2 year ago Angus were fetching £4.22 full spec and hope those days come back again

well he topped market at 229 p/kg. But thought he usually had more middle of the road cattle so maybe just had a few top end things. They usually buy a lot out of Stirling as stores.
