Hmrc, grant scheme, notification, letter?

I tried it and it says I’m eligible, also dad. So I went to put the gateway number in and it wouldn’t accept it.

Question, are all partners in a partnership entitled to equal amounts? Or would it be one payment for the business account? It’s very hard to work out what the hell its all about.
Don't know how it works but my brother got the letter and I didn't, although I got a letter from the accountant telling me about it. We are both equal partners with similar drawings and no other income so I wondered if it was for the business rather than the individual.

Did anyone get a txt saying there entitled to something?im always suspicious of random texts.

got a text this morning saying to use the checker to see if I’m eligible, I’ve already done that tho.

Had my letter just now. On the back is:

"A Word about Scams.

We are aware of an increase in scam emails, calls and texts. If someone gets in touch claiming to be from HMRC, saying that financial help can be claimed or that a tax refund is owed, and asks you to click on a link or give information such as your name, credit card or bank details, please do not respond.
You can forward suspicious emails claiming to be from HMRC to [email protected] and texts to 60599."

Hth.

Just apply using the guidelines in your Brother's letter.

All you need is your NI Number and your UTR (Unique Tax Reference) Number, shown on your last tax returns or tax demand.

Got my letter monday.
Talked to accountant this afternoon and going to apply for it tonight.

They obviously think I'm entitled to something or wouldnt have had a letter?‍♂

I think they are staggering sending letters out giving each a window to put application in so if you dont have a letter yet you may get one in the next batch/round?‍♂️

Just done mine. Was suprised they worked out the amount there and then. Guess I’ll see if it turns up within 6 days.
