I would think DW has caught up with live. Quoted £5.35 for ABP but took them to South Molton out of principle.
Had 48 nice Charolais x Lleyn 43.2kg @ £109.80 and 10 Pure Lleyn 43kg @£101.

£5.35 deadweight isn't enough compared to live! needs to be at least £5.60pk deadweight to be in line with liveweight.

South Molton today had just shy of 1900 spring lambs, a massive entry for the time of year for that market for spring lambs!

SQQ was a very credible £2.60pk.

If Springers are killing out at halves (& they should be) then dw equivalent to an sqq of £2.60 is surely £5.20? It would surely be a poor Springer that killed out below halves at this time of year? :scratchhead:

I had a good trade for my last hoggs up to £111 for 46kg and £75 for 1 at 36kg which lets just say i'm glad to see the back of in that direction:)
Cattle were a good trade 240 clean and 100 bulls I was up to £1480 ave £1350, Good cattle are a very good trade, overfat plain cattle are still a bit sticky but better than couple of weeks ago.
Sounds like a busy day at Thirsk yesterday 4000 sheep, nearly 400 cattle altogether, All marts are doing a great job in very testing circumstances.
