If get a second wave it mean more lockdown obviously, but people will get fed up and government might have to do house arrest style lockdown if not working or if your a health worker, people could get seriously fed up and angry.
What evidence do you have for your fear?

Has this happened in any other country after relaxing lockdown rules?

Cross that bridge when we get to it. Other countries seem to be getting it under control, and easing restrictions. If we get a second spike, then we'll have to have another lockdown.
Quite frankly the public have had it easy so far. 80 % of wages paid. Loans. Grants. Freedom for getting essential supplies.
Fooking ell, it's hardly the 1930's is it ? Or D - Day landings ? Starving Ethiopia ? If folks are getting cranky, they need a foot up the arse.

I certainly hope we avoid a second wave, and I also hope the economy gets going again for all of the uk.
My other half was reading something about the fact that in majority of pandemics the 2nd wave is historically higher than the first wave of infections.

Have tried to do some google research but haven't found any thing to back that up.

I believe it is more aligned to it potentially hitting in Winter, when the normal Flu hits, thus could potentially overwhelm the NHS.

What I fail to understand is the measures that are being put in place with PPE and insurance risk yet no health professional has ever worried about the risk of spreading flu to patients/customers.
If I've caught the flu from going to see my dentist can I sue?

I do not personally believe it is the contageous element that worries them most, but the volume of patients that may end up in hostpitals, resulting in an overload - potential reduced care support viability.

As for suing - well, I simply do not get the point in trying to apportion the blame for something like this when it is a virus, and noone can stop muppets from breaking the rules / guidelines with 100% effectiveness, so it will spread imho. YMMV.

Quicker we get the tracker app up and going the more money it could save the NHS.
