How can insurance ever pay out for that?
Neighbour had an exhaust welded by a local "lad" left a hole in side, hot gases came out and burnt the wiring loom cost thousands to replace on their insurance. Surely things like that shouldn't be covered?
Mechanical failure is to an extent, just had a customer who’s engine prop shaft snapped on a jd6920 and smashed the oil cooler and a load of other bits! The insurance will pay for the consequential damages but not the shaft.Stupid is covered on your insurance but mechanical failure is not.
