Next door's Spring Beans have just started to flower, height 7-8" tall. Been around this morning, crops still holding on SW I reckon may outperform WW here, the Feb drilled stuff looking not happy. The only crop that seems to be motoring is my cover crop.

When were these forward sales made, presumably before end of November 19, because I have not been very excited about the job since then?
Serious question.

Sold some end of July18 for Nov20 at 160 on basis that couldn’t remember good prices 3 years running as 15% of expected planted yield! Not a disastrous price but will be 30-35% now depending on weather.

Prices in the £160 plus bracket dont look at all wrong to me, in any normal set of circumstances.
They will be better than I have achieved this last 2 years, and I have our 2019 soft wheat in shed unsold still, offered £155 last week and passed on it.
Last wheat sale was 2019 Nov hard feed at £145.
It is always easy to be wise with all the vision that hindsight lends.
