Why are some TFF members so dogmatic in their views?

Have you?

I genuinely haven't. Just heard Jeremy whine on about it.

i’ve been ....... essential market research re forums obviously and it’s is probably the most successful one on terms of size

it’s an absolute snake / bear pit however ! i suspect they have to moderate a LOT more than we do

From some of the posts I do wonder how many are married as most wives would not tolerate being subordinate to a farmer/sprayer operator on an ego trip to have sprayer(combined, driled, silage etc) ha’s covered bragging rights ,or they have been married and divorced but wondered why their marriage/ relationship did not last :banghead::banghead:
But to be fair it takes all sorts to make a world ,and I am wrong..

Excessive dogmatism (aka as black & white thinking) - If a chap has worries/problems with their willy they have to overcompensate in other ways.

No idea about female dogmatism - Mrs Bogweevil seems to think it is perfectly obvious and starts shouting if I ask

Don't mind people having strong opinions, but the bull sh itters really annoy me

The one's who put so many pictures on "Today at work" that they'd never have to to do all they say they did. "Rebuilt the engine in the tractor this morning. Put up a new grain store after lunch and planted 100 acres of barley before teatime"
One's who claim unbelievable crop yields
Or have cows that never get mastitis, never go lame and live to be 50 years old
Or see every cow that's bulling, inseminate 50 a day and have a three week calving block.
And their cows never, ever sh!t in the parlour.
And I'm sure that most of the people who start a "what tractor/combine/pick upshould I buy" thread never actually buy anything.

To balance things out, there should be a "What I f ucked up today" thread
Who could ever buy something after one of those "what tractor/combine/pickup" threads? Everything is both simultaneously absolutely useless and the best. By the time you've read all the replies you decide its not worth buying anything

I've always worked on the presumption that everyone is more intelligent than I, until such time that they prove me wrong.....
Standard of education is no barrier to intelligence or lack of.....
But if you want to start a real fight, are you allowed to repower a Chevrolet SS / Pontiac G8 with a Ford 4.0?????

I don't think there is enough North Americans on here to start a Ford vs Chevvy argument. We did justice to a God thread though, but it didn't come to blows.

Dogmatism is a pain in the chuff because it gets in the way of learning outside of what is already known.

Is that the best way to loose all your friends?
They say a green top (LPG engine) with boost with Powerglide and nine inch in a SS or even a sorted Fox body will do sub 10 second 1/4 miles and still can be tuned for road use. If in the quest for speed you loose friends because of their narrow minded ,bigoted attitude to purely a single manufacturer like Ford or Chevrolet, then like most things, you are better off with out them, eh.?

Some of that was in a foreign language.
