Are you sure you’ve got your maths right??

Surely at 3600epg they would be dropping like flies?
Quite a staggering difference to be fair.
They look ok
I double checked the count (again)
We will see what happens once I have treated the Charollais ewes....all counts should go down
FEC for all farms is rising slowly which I attribute to the dry weather
Good conditions for Barbers Pole Worm

Maybe your Charollais have high resilience, rather than resistance?

Found 500 EPG of these in a lamb sample. Can't quite tell if there capillaria or strongyles on Google images. Lbs look well regardless.

I recently got a worm count done with my local vets they reported 18,000 epg strongles mainly , is this even possible the highest we ever had is 1800 and those lambs were losing significant weight these lambs are doing 0.1 kg dlg which is poor but considering there worm burden it isnt too bad.

Possible yes. Would expect it to be haemonchus at those levels, and would expect losses to be experienced sooner or later
