That black wrap, a devil to dispose of. You need more heat and more oxygen. Know of any strongly oxidising materials you might happen to have to hand on a farm?

While talking about disposal of plastic, how do people collect the fibres from astro turf they walk the cows on to prevent it from contaminating the fields and getting micro plastics into their watercourses.

How do you prevent the microfibres from your clothing, shampoo and toothpaste from getting into the watercourses?
By not letting the cows walk all over them? How do you prevent the microfibres from your clothing, shampoo and toothpaste from getting into the watercourses?
The footings seem to be giving way a little there.
The IRA managed it for many years...You won't make it explode.
exactly, I think that should be an issue with products we buy, no excuse for putting micro beads in anything, and we should not be wearing clothes that give out micro fibres when they are washed, not sure what a vegan would wear, cotton or linen I suppose. How do you prevent the microfibres from your clothing, shampoo and toothpaste from getting into the watercourses?

There was a time not many years ago DEFRA had a blueprint of a barrel modification for burning plastic cans, this was after deciding previous advice for burying in fields wasnt a good thing
Is this it? I used to do it but it's so much easier to pay for a bin from the council and have it emptied once a week.
I don't know either.Thats the one, not sure what the official line is for that now?

I pleased that’s just missing us, hope it’s not a farmer burning plastic ?
You spend £350 to salve your moral conscience....or to comply? what happens to your dirty plastic wrap/waste down the road? Burnt or buried by a certificated operative?.
What is the red line you draw for being an informer? Animal cruelty? Obviously some crime is acceptable and some not depending on your view.I don't know which is worse - a plastic burner or an informer.
