Power shift is in B range and auto when doing yard work stacking bales ect and and when you n the road C-D auto but when you need to slow down with a load over a hill ect pull back on the stick instantly back into Manuel so you can hold it back ;):):)

valtra vario is still in 4 ranges so I can’t see the point
Errrrrr

Fender is two ranges, 0 to flat out in field, or flat out in road gear

Valtra is 0 to flat out in 4 ranges

Valtra can shift on the move

New Holland auto command has power shift range changes

I can't see the point of not understanding how the tractor you're driving is designed to work ?

We find a fendt 516 is a lot better tractor than a MF 7618 pulls better smoother and the build quality is far better than most other tractors and they are not more money if you spec them spec for spec against any other make then when you sell it with 10,000 hours on it there is still a market for it

Gonna be a bit different here but id have the fendt. If ur goin spec for spec ther really isnt much in it and fendt will definitely be worth more second hand than a nh jd massey valtra with vario.also small things like the quality of the paint compared to other brands is tremendous. Was drivin a 820 today which is a fair age like early 2000s and no rust to be seen even on rims and this tractor sits outside most of the time. The steerin is also alot better than a 50k jd which is awful. If ur wantin a high spec tractor i think the fendt is a no brainer. The nh wont be near the same quality with bad brakes, 4wd bearings, electric spools, and the tranny is not even close to fendt. Imho its only a heap o ****
What models NH do you run and at what hours have you experienced these problems?

T7.210 AC was 20k cheaper than 516 Power when we past checked. 516 did have FL but was way behind on power and other spec was lower too. Nice tractor but that 20k goes a long way. Profi Plus must be crackers.

Definitely has a grudge against NH (hopefully unbiased but viewing previous comments on Nh dealers etc )would find the comments totally unjustified

Which did you go for?
The 516, because, although it cost more it was the better machine for our application. The vario, separate oil tank, 10 inch screen, the fact it turned on a sixpence and many other things, including a must for our job, a 160ltr/min oil pump, which was simply not available on some of the other machines.

I have not driven a modern Valtra but I have sat in a new one, all the bells and whistles recently. Struck me as being very very nice place to spend the day and virtually no effort to drive. Also, Valtra have the more desirable SiSu engine.
Think you'll find the fpt engine in the New Holland is the better engine. Are they not the most efficient tractor ever tested by the dlg? No reliability issues either with the fpt engine.

Had CNH tractors here for years, never been into a gearbox Or a 4wd bearing, only ever done the brakes on One 8000 plus hr tractor And that was as planned maintence and they weren’t worn out, And when was the last time you read a thread on here about a FPT engine or auto command/cvx gearbox going bang?

Iv drove other nh tractors but this is the only 1 that had ac. I was only sayin i think the fendts betr. I also think fendts betr than most other tractors out ther
They might be better but they give bother too and won't do jobs any better than the next brand or earn you any more money, so if farmings so bad and no money in it why would you spend the extra on a fendt? Plus why not buy the one that is assembled in the UK supporting UK jobs? After all farmers want the public to support them and buy their produce.
