The Black Sea FoB Urea price dropped from $235 (£183) to $202 (£160) last month, a fall of about £23 or 14%.
Yet the merchants are telling us to “buy now, avoid the monthly price rises”.
You have to wonder if they’ve paid too much for the July / August stock they’re selling now, before it’s even been loaded on the boat ?

You will see this move up in June. FOB now $225. Any merchant/trader that is long will be happy with their purchase, any that are short will be feeling uncomfortable.

Pretty sure that is prills not granules, not aware of any decent granules coming from that way. North African gran urea traded up $12 this week, which is where most the UK's quality urea comes from.

£ vs $ exchange rate is also having an affect at the moment.

Fair enough, but I'd happily take urea dust in bags if it was the right price. It's destined for a liquid 'home brew' plant.
