Any ideas yet on sale arrangements this year tim?
Still hoping on the one day sale?

Different times bring different solutions ---we have changed the format ---details on website
https://www.exlana.co.uk/sales

Because of potential restrictions on numbers of bidders being able or wanting to attend a sale we have altered the sale format a bit

You can order commercial rams now online or over the phone

We will then have an Elite sale on 4th August
This will feature the top 50 rams in the usual auction setting but accompanied by the opportunity to bid online
We have joined up with www.sellmylivestock.co.uk to enable this to happen
Videos and data of all rams will be on their website well before the sale & you will be able to register and bid from your own sofa !
The sale will be broadcast in ''real time'' via a webcam with auctioneer taking bids from the floor as well as online

We looked at lots of options and spoke to quite a few customers trying to figure out the best way to do this and i'm quite excited about it now---nearly all customers were happy to buy online because they said;
''We buy on figures so seeing the animal in the flesh is not so critical''
''We have bought from you before and always been happy with the service''
''You'll only mess us around once '' !

We will then deliver rams to (or close to ) the purchasers farm (mainland UK)

It is something I've wanted to try for a while and this year has forced our hand :)

Sounds good, so us 'locals' will likely be able to attend the elite sale, of course the situation could change for the worse yet.

Probably will be after 2/3 elites like usual

....he's bred all the wool off the fudgers, so they need wooly hats when it snows.

Tempted to sell on 1 or both my rams and buy in some fresh blood.
