Not sure
It depends what you want to do with them I guess. Are they just for personal consumption?
I cant really tell without seeing them in the flesh, but to me they look near ready, especially if there is a 5 week waiting time for the abbatoir.
Be a fair freezer full if you are using it all yourself!!

Thanks, that’s what I was kind of thinking so I’ve booked them in! We keep some amongst ourselves and some gets sold to friends/family and I like to make sure everyone gets their money’s worth so prefer them to be on the bigger side!

You can change a pigs weight hugely in 5 weeks and they can run to fat quickly. They look good at the mo so keep feeding as you have been. They tend to store fat in their jowels so keep an eye on that bit.
I wont tell you the old way to judge the fat of a pig....

They need booking in now and cutting back a bit on cake or changing the ration to something less fattening as @Suffolk Serf says or else the backfat on the eye muscle will dwarf the meat if they really can't go for 5 weeks, those boars will be big by then and may already be called Roger and will annoy the gilts soon too.

They look good sorts though so it shouldn't be too hard like it would with a rare breed.
