I have sprayed approx 1700 acres of maize this year, some having had the basic callisto /Nicosulfuron at .75 mix and some having heavy 4 way mixes with trace elements and sea weed extract. Not sure on the price , but in my opinion it is more about hitting the weeds with less chem when they are small and then letting the sun and rain grow it.
Spray for a big AD buisness, first pass 128 ltrs /ha 30%N top up with Claymore herb @3ltr/ ha.( pre em)
Follow up , 0.6 _0.7 ltr/ ha Sampson, 0.8 ltr /ha Callisto and 1 ltr / ha Quark ( Trace E)
Every acre has the callisto/ quark but Sampson ( grass weed herb) is on a field by field basis but 75% done.
This is on 2500 acs !!
Other customers, 400 ac, no pre em but a sampson/ callisto/ TE mix is normal
