We gave ours a good push with N , and have delivered seven loads into store for ADM this week.
All has been over 14.5% protein bar one load which was initially recorded by the store at 14.4 and they notified me of a £10/ton charge as the sample had "failed" to make the grade.
Not being happy with the prospect of losing nearly £300 on one load I asked for a retest. Result: 14.67 protein. It pays to double check!
Thanks to the lovely lady at ADM for sorting it.

Normally when you ask for a retest it comes back lower than the first test and they dock you even more.....!

I haven’t looked into it yet but a merchant other than Openfield will be supplying them in future.

Anyone had any feed barley prices?
Been offered £126 for July and £135 for September, really I need to move 150t to make some space but for the extra £9/t I’m tempted squeeze it in somewhere!
