having gone through 3 yrs of funny bacto's, spending £1000's, it will be one of 3 things, water, plant or tank, check each very carefully, ignore the #experts#, telling you to try this/that chemical, that soon wastes money ! Just sort out each one of those 3 things, 1 at a time, with the plant, take the pipes out, and physically clean out, after our experiences, its highly likely to be something very simple, but finding it, might not be ! But start going down the testing and swabbing route, it gets so complex, you cannot see the wood, for the trees !

Autumn cows are always dear this time of year. But this is getting a bit silly now.
especially if you need a few ! our man yesterday, couldn't touch what we were after ! nice to get some other views, a few dispersals coming on, big sale Friday, at Exeter, thought those out of sync cows, 2 weeks ago, were dear enough !

If not all ready go on to every collection sampling while you sort this out. Also I have always found that the collection after a “deep clean” throws a high Bactoscan.

Yes, already on that, at 50p a test it’s on permanent to see things like this coming. Tank was grubby so really thought that wold have dropped it. Nothing changed for today’s collection so will see what that brings in the morning. I have my suspicions of the milk line in the parlour as the extra two units in the extension are not commissioned yet, and always thought that bit of pipe can’t be cleaning properly. But been fine for 3 month.

One of my guys is venturing to Exeter on Friday looking to buy. We discussed how much they're worth and what they'll make and sadly the two numbers weren't close. He only wants half a dozen or so so if anyone going could politely sit on their hands until hes got his that would be appreciated, ta! ?
