how do you find your massey combine? i notice u can buy those cereas a lot cheaper than NH or claas
Generally in bits getting repaired ??

it’s not been great, really like the header, but that’s not cheap to keep. Header was gone through by the dealer 4 years ago, tomorrow it gets 20 bearings and 5 powerflow belts. I struggle to sort the crop, it will cut and thrash far more than the sieves will handle, but that maybe me being useless at setting it up as not been on the combine many years. Saying that though, I did ok setting up the Class ?Lots of niggles the last 3 years, 1 major breakdown.
we are trying to put 8-900 acres through it though and I do push it to it’s limits.
Would I buy again, yes, but only if I was cutting my patch, as I could get a combine and a dryer for the same money as a Class.
Money not an issue, I’d go back to Class.

Contractor turned up with this new toy.

I had said I was worried that that I might not get all the grass in the pit. - but we did.

It really does pack it in and left a very firm surface. We can usually cut up the silage as we run up and down with the forklift when putting the sheets on. Not this time - forklift was hardly leaving a mark on the surface.

Must, surely, lead to less sinkage and a better fermentation with less air in the pit?
