I had this arrive last week but finally used it this week going through 600 lambs.

incredibly well built, accurate, smooth, quiet and we all love it. It’s set up in the static system at the moment as that’s where most of my lambs are. It’s also got top weigh cells and not load bars underneath.

Dose it shed by weight ?
No it’s not pneumatic, fully manual with bungee chords pulling the doors shut. It’ll be run on the rappa from now on until next year so wouldn’t want the hassle of pneumatic and it’s only something more to go wrong so I didn’t even ask about it.
So it’s just scales ?

How do the automatic ones know it’s got a lamb inside and the lamb has left etc.. what about when the lambs arnt tagged? Mine are only tagged when chosen for slaughter. What if a tag has fallen out etc etc. I saved myself almost £1k by not going for the tag reader module but I could get it in the future as the side doors have panel reader wire built in like all border software crates do.
