I've got 6 stores going tomorrow...It's the first time I've ever sold stores in Whitland so be interesting to see what buyers are there different to carmarthen

I cannot for the life of me understand why BJP are fading out without a whimper or any obvious attempt to survive. Usually a market or auctioneers will post some facts if they are being unfairly talked about

How did you fare and how was trade in general?
Very pleased overall.
Some did better than I thought but a couple of heifers did a shade less, but swings and roundabouts.
I wasn't there (drop and go) but from the live video trade was good. A lot of steers in the £1300+.
Carmarthen been in decline for Months, best facilities by far. Whitland flying but facilities are stretched to breaking point. Its just not big enough. I worry about animal welfare and health and safety issues. They should split the sales for different days. Around 400 calves last Tuesday. Without the Lim dispersal and weaned calves. Its a long old day for the calves on an antiquated mart.
