Like the look of the N guard, there competitively priced, Bristol van sales are starting them at £22,750.

If new they are good, If second hand, don`t buy the one in between the d40 and the very latest np300 that came out in about September.

I have a 2017 Navara, very good truck to drive, tows well, all the toys inside, good fuel economy (28 when towing and around 38 when not, have managed 49 on a good motorway run though). Biggest downside is the Renault engine they put in an otherwise great Japanese truck! Engine pulls well but reliability not been great. In 6 months had 4 warranty claims just for little bits like water pump, intercooler pipes, ad blue sensor. Local Nissan dealer been very good standing by all the warranty and we haven’t paid a penny even though we did not buy from them. Id definely have another again when warranty runs out on this one.

Mine was fine but I should have got rid before warranty ran out. It’s done 130;000 in 41/2 years
Just had egr valve, egr cooler at a cost of £2,000. Realise now that main dealer mechanics are just laptop drivers and about ok for servicing Doris’s Nissan Duke. When asked why they hadn’t done a compression test the answer was they didn’t have one
I was going to swap it in till the cooling system played up. It looks now the head gasket has gone or head has cracked
Nissan quoted £2;700 to change head gasket or £4,000 for new head or £14,000 for a new engine so it came home
Have had partial success with block seal and if it works it’ll be gone
Will have another but it’ll be gone before 100,000 comes up. Most annoying thing is the repair bill so far is 6 months payments on a new one !!!

So when did the updated one come out?

August or September last year I think. Got mine begining of september was one of the firstish ones. Easy to tell if it is the uprated one, the 2 chromey knobs on the centre display are at the bottom corners, were at the top on the earlier one.
