Farmer Roy's Random Thoughts - I never said it was easy.

Rona. That's everyone's excuse for everything these days. "Nah mate , cant get parts for it , the rona"

Expecting Wuhan Dan to announce a hard border with NSW today. f**k knows how that will play out with us here with hay and silage season a couple of months away. Getting parts, getting things fixed, getting much needed supplies. I swear to God whilst everyone down there has to mask up, someone should put a bullet in the baßtard. Wont be able to identify you........ @Steel good job for you!

I’m happy for the Victorians to keep their diseases there.
My only concern is my drone in in Victoria for repairs and I don’t know when I will get it back.

What will cattle and hay prices do i wonder?

Sheep, might be time to buy some lambs?

I spread urea and potash today, driest its been here since ive lived here for july aug but still not short of moisture, better get this grass moving and if a window for an early cut presents I'll take it then may sneak a second cut, all hay is the intention.

Ant....

@Steel ,@cows sh#t me to tears ,

Things going from bad to worse?

Yep they sure are, this is what happens when you have a libtard premier, who is a chinese shill, and will not control his voting base.

25% of people who tested positive last week and were meant to be in isolation at home, when the army went and door knocked they werent home.

So what makes anyone think that Melbourne people are gonna do what there told this week? If you dont have the self respect and concern for your fellow man when u test positive for corona then you're never gonna do as told.

The only reason they are doing this is delay the enquiry into the hotel quarantine fiasco and blm march mess. Plain and simple.

Libtard doesn’t make a difference.

Premier here is Conservative. The important part is the tard, not the preceding letters.

Premier won’t do jack sh!t so the mayors of the cities have started to enact regulations. Hardly any wonder the outbreaks happening now are in places under only the premiers jurisdiction, no mayors to save us out here. Just ourselves.

Trouble is ALL labor governments here are run by factions. And his police and health minister are on different sides. The powerful police union refused to do it apparently, so the weak plonker left it up to his employment minister Martin Pakula.
It’s hotting up around here too.

We are avoiding Wrexham 14 miles from here....well.....like the plague.:nailbiting::dead:

A proportion of society here seemed to take the talk about maybe starting to reduce restrictions as a green light to ignore rules and behave like idiots. Now that same portion of society are complaining their Spanish holiday bookings have been cancelled and their pubs might be closed again.

One of wife’s friends family have a holiday house on the Costa Blanca they went out a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the difference in attitude over there to here is night and day. People wearing masks everywhere even on the beach and keeping there distance and it’s really quiet. The older generation in their 60s and semi retired felt much safer there than what’s happening here so have decided to stay out there for longer.

According to a good source they have ‘lost’ 40 positive tested people as they have disappeared.

There are immigrants who cannot afford not to work.....

If we were REALLY serious about it we would ensure they didn't need to break the rules, by paying them for the duration of their isolation if need be.

Our politician's thought it perfectly acceptable to bail out banks that had gambled and lost in 2008.....

I quickly looked at some stats and there were 3000 with EU passports and around 1500 non EU.

There will be some students in those figures.

Town population just over 60,000.
I quickly looked too and 10-13,000 polish was suggested. I wouldn't be surprised if the numbers have greatly reduced as many went back due to improved economic conditions in Poland and then Brexit made a lot concerned about their future here.
I used to occasionally shop in Asda at Queensferry, not many English voices in there (or Welsh)
