How’s your OSR looking now

Well, my rape looked poor all year really.
And I don't think it's failed to live up to expectations.
Reckon something like a tonne to a tonne and a quarter per acre.
Will know better once it's weighed into store.
But at least it made it to harvest.

if you grew it cheap that’s not a bad result and could produce a positive margin ?

Has anybody had some rape that went into winter looking good, and came out of winter looking good but still performed badly, Or had to be pulled up due to flee beetle larva or root larva. Drill ours early last year and the big plants over came both, only bit we pulled up was a patch where pigeons hammered it and it never recovered.

Push the yield up a bit open the sieves drop the fan speed a little bit of rubbish is worth £330 a ton so might as well have some in the sample . All good as long as you don't overdo it . :D (y):D

we get deductions for admixture in oilseeds - sunflowers & canola . . .

if there is 2% trash in the sample, the weight paid for is reduced by 2%
