On the prime sheep, prices worldwide at are record highs currently, the prices we are currently getting we should have been getting last year as well as UK prices have been well below the rest of the world the last 12/18 months!

Yep Brexit is looming but what the political games played out by the French Gov back around when the UK lockdown came into effect showed is that the French NEED our lamb, back then they stopped imports of UK lamb for about 10 days, they then ran out of lamb and Macron was forced to back track very quickly and re-instate imports of UK lamb and the same will happen if he try's stupid games like he did back in March come Next Jan!

i would say at least 2 years,(since asf hit the china pig herds and they went all out on NZ/ aus lamb) its has cost us all £20-50 a lamb over that period ,everywhere has been £5 kg and many above that , lamb price has been main casualty of brexit ,The 2018 drought hit beef prices as europe unloaded higher numbers of dairy cows only just recovering now as goodman got a bloody nose on discounted eastern euro beef at beginning of lockdown , agree with your last point .

Looks like they're pulling stock from a massive area now.

Surely at 2 yrs and older they were originally destined for breeding, and whilst the prices were high I’m not sure they leave much profit?
Maybe @jre knows the story? Full marks to Darlo, they seem to be doing a tremendous job. How long before something grosses over £2000? @Northeastfarmer, don't be shy. You're a man for rash predictions!
