Possibly the same gearbox just needs rev/speed limit altered. Opens can of worms with brakes etc though

Does a machine like this clean the ground as good as a normal rake? Whats the benefit of this type over the other type?

I had a similar smaller model and it worked great. Rotary rakes are very expensive in South Africa and tend not to last too long with the workers we employ. Mergers are not even available and have to be imported on your own risk etc. Also very very expensive. So ground driven rake it is. 9.4m at a time will make a decent wind row for the baler.

No we use it for silage making. We dont make any hay or straw bales. All wrap bales

It’s not mine at the moment but got this in demo for the weekend.
Currently run a 450, this is the 570 pro. Power increase and noise level a big improvement and first bike I’ve ever had with power steering makes it very easy to drive.
