I'd actually wish the next 6 weeks away and just cut my losses and house after October 10th.
I've about an acre of 3rd cut submerged, which tells me there was a wild slap of rain!Looks like J and R fuels yard on the Carnlough line about a mile outside Broughshane. Anybody got any rainfall figures? Our burn measurement tells us there was a brave taste.
The burn here is still well up and I'm only 2 miles or so from the source, so that's last nights rain. It's all heading your way in a few days!!We’d 41mm up here on the coast yesterday [emoji85]
If we can get a day or 2 our ground would be fairly quick to soak, cows away back out this morning and got grass cut for other cows with only making the odd dirty markThe burn here is still well up and I'm only 2 miles or so from the source, so that's last nights rain. Its a great business model. Take on loads more milk than you need then drop the price. We always have a choice of buyer, and we always get our milk lifted.

Our buyer just wants factory going at full capacity, at times I think it's actually tesco pulling the strings. Its a great business model. Take on loads more milk than you need then drop the price.
Atleast we are told how much the factory needs, also there is no recruitment at the moment because they don't need the milk.
Wouldn’t put anyone off it but it is a big tie you have to be there a lot of the timeConsidering changing my farming practice from beef cows and sheep to 90 dairy cows. What’s your thoughts? ?
