Waiting for green tillers to die off after spraying the wheat did me no favours at all. I might have got the wheat earlier if I’d just accepted green grains and resulting higher moisture. Combine has taken every opportunity going to get the spring barley which seemed at greater risk and is finished now. We only have about 120 acres of cereals and a 14’ bed on a big combine. We took every opportunity going but still have 42 acres wheat left to do though we did get the best 10 acres last Sunday. Absolute nightmare for those with big acreages to do round here. Not much cut yet.
